Grateful.

I honor of my 101st post, I'd like to celebrate all the amazing things that are taking place in my life right now. We spend entirely too much time lamenting over the negative in our lives, or what we don't have. I'd like to focus today's post on how blessed I am, in honor of Thanksgiving. The following list includes some of the highlights in my life, currently.

1. My relationship with Jesus. I am so secure in my eternity and the love that I enjoy through my relationship with Jesus Christ. Nothing in life is better than that!

2. I am blessed to be doing life with my high school sweetheart, and we still like each other! lol How many people can say that? In fact, I fall more in love with him everyday. We've traveled the world together and created beautiful music. I am grateful for our kind of love.

3. Out of that love, I bore a son. Eilan is perfect, in every way, and I am relishing in my new mom experience! He is our rainbow baby; our gift after the rain storm.

4. I am working in a career field that I feel I was created for. I love teaching and helping other adults come to a better understanding of themselves.

5. Finally, I am grateful for being able to express myself creatively while inspiring so many people worldwide, as a style blogger and singer.

Today, no matter what life may look like for you, there is always something you can be thankful for. Instead of comparing your life to someone else's highlight reel create a highlight reel of your own. Thank God for what you have and contemplate ways in which you can improve your life.

Couple's Outfit of the Day!

Hi Everyone,

Last weekend it turned a tad bit chilly here in Florida and out came my scarf! lol My favorite thing about the Fall/Winter season is getting dressed in cozy fabrics and concealing lines. I wore this look last Saturday for a day out with my little family. I've shared the visual for this look on my YOUTUBE channel.

Top: Old Navy
Denim Jeans: Forever 21
Open-Toe Booties: Charlotte Russe
Chunky Scarf: Charlotte Russe

I blogged my hubby's look as well to give you an outfit idea for the male in your life.

Scarf:
Top: Old Navy
Sweat Pants: Old Navy
Sneakers: Air Jordans

You can definitely dress up sweats as my husband's done here; a scarf and a dressy top does the trick.

Thanks for Stopping By!

FLANNEL MINI LOOKBOOK

Hi Everyone,

Today, I'm sharing some looks that were inspired by my latest inclination towards flannel. Flannel is often confused with plaid. There are, in fact, several paid patterns. Flannel refers to a soft cotton or wool fabric, woven together with the purpose of keeping one warmer than a typical button down. You can find flannel shirts for a good price at any of your local thrift stores. Or, like me, you can raid your brother/husband/father's closet and borrow  their flannel pieces! I also created a video to give you a visual with a bit more movement. Check out my video HERE.

Hat: Thrifted
Sunglasses: Old purchase
Flannel: Hubby's

Boots: Forever21

Hat: Thrifted
Necklace: H&M

Flannel: Hubby's
Bodycon Dress: Ross
